What we collect

  • Account: email, username, name and profile picture (if you add one), and your sign-in method.
  • Learning activity: courses, lessons, exercises, XP, streaks, badges, certificates, projects and course ratings.
  • CodeVerse AI: the messages you send to the tutor and its replies, so you can see your conversations.
  • Purchases: plan type, status, dates and the payment provider's identifier. We never receive or store card or bank details.
  • Technical data needed to run the service (session cookies, language and theme preferences).

What we use it for

  • To provide the courses, save your progress and show your profile.
  • To remove ads when you have an active plan.
  • To prevent abuse (for example, request limits).

Providers that process data

  • Supabase (database and accounts) and Vercel (website hosting).
  • Anthropic, only for the messages you send to CodeVerse AI.
  • PayPal and Google Play, when you pay. Their own privacy policies apply to the payment.
  • Google AdSense (web) and Google AdMob (app) show ads to people without an ad-free plan. Google may use cookies and device identifiers to show and measure ads, and personalised ads where permitted. You can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com. Your rights

In Settings you can download all your data (JSON) and delete your account; deleting it erases your progress. You can also make your profile private or hide yourself from the leaderboard. For anything else, write to the contact above.

Code you run

Exercises run in your own browser inside an isolated sandbox. When the server re-checks an exercise, it does so in an isolated execution service, never on the main server.

Children

If you are under the minimum age to consent to data processing in your country, use CodeVerse with permission from your parent or guardian.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated.
